Correction:
Twenty-five papers in each course for each of the quality levels ("3" and
"5") for each of the years (1984 and 1990); i.e., 25 Satisfactory (3) papers
from 1984, 25 Satisfactory (3) papers from 1990, 25 Excellent (5) papers
from 1984, and 25 Excellent (5) papers from 1990.

If you have picked up the Alberta report you may have noticed that there is
no information on the number of papers that were used for the analysis. I
just wrote to the evaluation department and was told there 25 papers for
each subject area. Not a large sample but adequate given the selection
process. I'm thinking of making a similar kind of comparison with some
biology papers so hope it proves useful!
