Belated thanks for your reply to my bear query. Indeed, we don't know
that it's performing--is it REED entertainment if it just stood there to be
gawked at, I wonder? With all the replies I got, surely Sally-Beth will
let Jane and I have one brief reference to a bear--with a half-page
endnote. And thanks again to you and Joan for taking pity on the lonely
researcher when I was in Southampton last fall. Cheers,
