At best a large scale trial would be needed and even then the results could be questionable. There is anecdotal evidence that long term use of dopamine changes the body response but if there are valid effects they are not well researched. The answer will only emerge when the causes of PD are determined. At the present time the causes and the progression of the disease are only poorly or not at all understood. K. F.
