DUTIES: The Department of English and Modern Languages seeks an individual
to provide instruction in a selection of courses ranging from introductory
business and technical writing and speaking courses. The successful
candidate will have a commitment to quality undergraduate education and the
use of progressive teaching techniques. The teaching workload for this
position might involve instructing courses over a
tri-semester period.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Master's Degree in a relevant field; Ph.D. preferred.
Teaching experience at post-secondary level.
Evidence of teaching excellence an asset.
Technical, professional writing or editing experience an asset.
COMMENCEMENT OF EMPLOYMENT: 01 August 2005
