Just to add to the mix, Yaying, I suggest you look at SFU's MBA program
description and see what they use - though maybe you'd want to distinguish
your program? - and also I'll forward your query to a couple of colleagues
who may have some ideas based on what they do.

Dear colleagues,

I've been asked to develop a Management Communication course for our new
MBA program here at the University College of the Cariboo (soon to be
Thompson Rivers University!). Can you recommend textbooks that have
worked for you? I'm looking for textbooks that approach business
communication from a discourse or genre analysis perspective, so that
students will learn to critically examine the discourse practices they
are asked to engage in in addition to learning the practical aspects of
business communication.

Many thanks in advance!

Yaying
