I haven't heard whether or not my proposal has been accepted. Could you
let me know? Funding help for me to attend the conference depends on my
presenting something or being a part of a workshop or participating
somehow. It's okay either way, since I know my proposal was sent in
late. Thanks, Jim

Hello to both of you, and sorry for the long silence. I'm about to give
a formal presentation of my survey of last year (now entitled "K-12 and
Post-Secondary Writing: Continuum Rather Than Great Divide") to Memorial
University and the public at large, and I'll then be turning it into a
report. It'll still be a work-in-progress, though, as I'm greatly hoping
that my presentation is going to initiate some rather big changes at the
University, and that I'll be a part of those. So I'd love to bring it to
Inkshed as a "Research Works-in-Progress," if there is room for it. Just
tell me what to do next, and I'll do it (after Feb. 14 - that's the day
of the presentation, and I'm up to my eyeballs getting ready for it).
I'm also still happy to help with a round-table, if you still want me
to; I didn't volunteer sooner because I wasn't sure I'd be able to come
to Inkshed this year - but now I'm pretty sure I can.

Hoping all is well!

Ginny
