Sinemet only helped me on the first dose, but I took it anyway for about
year, it didn't hurt. I stopped all PD meds til after my DBSs when I tried
again. This time Stalevo made me nauseous. I noticed people on meds were
complaining of same symptoms as me off meds. So I don't take any meds, but
do get botox injections in my left dystonia ridden leg. The DBSs really
made my tremors bearable, no meds ever helped. At least I don't have
dyskinesias since I don't take Sinemet.

I had ovarian cancer when I was 43 and became allergic
to chemo which I had to repeat for docs ro prove to them that turning red,
white and gray and having huge hematomas was not due to allergy to shrimp or
dermatological problem, but the chemos.

I don't take meds that don't help me. Not this time around. I think PD
meds suck, but they do help some people,I am not one of them.

Yes, it is very difficult to cope. This is why I am such a Bush-hater. I
guess it's one of my coping skills. He should have this disease instead of
dry drunk syndrome and megalomania . You are not nuts.
