Dear Mr. Edstrom:

My wife has Parkinson's and I read some of the messages listed. One thing I
have learned is how different some people react to the same medication so
keep that in mind in what I am about to say. Mirapex may very well work for
you. For my wife, it was a disaster. Her former doctor told her the
sleepiness would wear off but it never did. Additionally, she became quite
depressed, a thing she had never in her life before experienced. She stayed
on it for about a month and a half, I think. Again, I have read messages of
at least one on this list who have done well on Mirapex. My wife was lucky
enough to get into the clinic at UCSF, with a sensational doctor. She is
now on Requip and Sinemet and is doing very well. The Requip entirely
eliminates restless legs symptoms as well. I wish you the best of luck.
