Peggy
It is true that the religious community is not all equal.
I was reminded by another email friend that there is a moral minority in the
religious community who believe in SCR and that helping poor people is
moral.and hating homosexuals is not particularly praiseworthy

I have been too hard on religion in general and feel I've been forced into
an extreme position because of the positions of certain ruling evangelicals,
but not all

Most of my good friends are Christians of some kind, have one Hindu
friend.and an atheist. My mother was an atheist. I am an agnostic. Getting
PD has not made me more religious, but less so, I tend to focus on the wars
and violence religion has caused and opposition to science, not the good
teachings. My position on these iss would be the same with or without
religion or illness.

Your reminder is well-timed. Ray
