Hey Scott, Why don't you all descend on those friends? If your kids are on the young side, missing a week or so of school will do them no harm (the school will disagree; don't believe them) and the memory of the trip is something you all will share forever. If that's not possible, do indeed go Scott, go!! Well, let's just say he wouldn't have to repeat it! And my motto is "carpe diem!" You have your priorities straight, but we don't have a choice when it comes to our health. I think I am going to Aruba (?sp) with my hubby later this year. If we miss even 1 week of not seeing our grandbabies I have 3), then they grow up and change so much. But God didn't say "you must stay in every second of their lives." Go, Scott! I'd like to tqke a trip to Mexico later in the year to Puerto Vallarta and San Miguel de Allende. My wife Patty keeps telling me to go and stay with some friends down there while I feel good. Unfortunately I feel guilty about leaving her and the kids. I also am torn because I don't want to miss out on watching my boys play baseball. On the other hand I feel nervous that my healthy, "feeling good" days are numbered. Watching "Saving Milly" just made me even more anxious about the whole deal.
