Hi
I am not worried about the medical bills. I am worried abiout th life of
the lady that is suffering. She cannot feel, she cannot talk, and how is her
daily maintenance is going to be achieved without losing her dignity. The
parents do not display a real affection for her well being and her
individuality. It would appear to me that they are just interested in doing
everything against her hsuband's wish and nothing else. Although I do not
understand the whole story behind it, it is not fair for Mr. Bush or the
congress to exploit the situation for their political advantage, which if
there is any, is wrongly conceived.
I am wondering if in the right time of her crisis, she were subjected to
stem cell therapy, she would have been walking by now. Would the Bush
Government appove of that on the basis of "the culture of life".
Anyway you look at it, the whole thing does not make sense. I would not
like to spend 15 years of my life in that vegetative state. i am sure she
also does not want this.
    Raj
