Hi Jo Ann,

If one was asked "is it light outside?" does not this imply there may not be
light? It would seem to me that the same principle applies to belief in
something as opposed to nothing. I think that even "a black hole" has
matter.

If one believes in something, and that is by one's own definition. It does
not mean a different belief is nothing.
