They will have to wrest my constitution "from my cold dead hands" so
to speak. My question is, how is it that they've gotten as far as
they have? How could they shout such bad nonsense so loudly, and not
be laughed at just as loudly?

I agree, there are fanatics out there who mean to take over, and they
need to be closely watched. They are doing all the things the Nazis
did during their rise to power. Creating outrage where the situation
doesn't warrant it, using any occasion for favorable pub or to rouse
the rabble, bullying and terrorizing judges and elected officials,
jerrymandering election districts, creating scapegoats etc. And yet,
they're just exercising their constitutional rights. But their 'free'
hate speech has actually crossed the line between free expression and
sedition.

I call 'em RELIGERANTS.

I follow this kind of thing through my membership in the ACLU
www.aclu.org , Americans United www.au.org , and support of Southern
Poverty Law Center www.splcenter.org , three constitutional watchdog
groups. There are groups who speak of positive alternatives as well,
such as the Center For Inquiry www.centerforinquiry.net , and
religious denominations who preach tolerance, such as the UU's. We
are not alone. But we need to be vigilant and active.

Rick

for Constitutional Restoration and they declared war. One rabbi was
present as was Phyllis Schlafly with her 50 year old helmet hairdo.

Enlightenment never happened. I am a scholar of the Constitution and
other related documents but need help from you people who believe the
world was created 6,000 years ago to point out the scripture that
provides the basis for the features of the Constitution. How are they
related to the Fundamental Orders of Connecticut?
