NATIONAL NEWS Thu, Apr 14, 2005 *Stem cell discovery a first * SCIENTISTS have unveiled an Australian-first medical breakthrough in stem cell research which paves the way for innovative diabetes and Parkinson disease treatments. Researchers at the University of NSW and Sydneys Prince of Wales Hospital have found a way of taking single cells from human embryos.
