KF is right.  I meant "the oldest", guess I don't know what optimum means -
best.....I do think it's the younger the better.  Don't believe they prefer
to do DBS after 70.  I figured I didn't want to wait any longer, but don't
take this as my pushing it on anybody.  All it helped was my tremors which
is great, but think I have double vision and my voice is worse because of
it.  I still can't walk with meds and my hands are like paws and I fall, but
I'm pretty sure it will help tremor.

Good luck, some people have gotten their lives back, others its a disaster.
There are risks like stroke and death.  As someone else on the list said,
have it done by the best team you can find.
