I have noticed some are posting to Parkinsn with attachments and with html. Both are frowned on since Parkinsn is an email only list. Several years ago, some viruses got propagated through the list so that is why we have the text only rule. It is easy to set your email program to send text to Parkinsn. Your other email is not bothered. If you post to Parkinsn and wish to attach some text, use the option to paste the attachment into the body of the message. I notice some subscribers failed to follow directions in replacing MyFirstName etc with their real names. If you have done this, it is no problem for me to correct if you email me. Parkinsn list email management buttons are available which simplify interacting with the listserv. The buttons when clicked on open your email program and write the commands for you to do what the buttons say.
