Dear Carol, I'm sorry to hear that you've had problems with your attempts at DBS. I think it takes a brave soul indeed to go through the DBS procedure. I am keeping my hopes up that we will soon see some clinical trials with stem cell replacement and that successes with this procedure will lead to treatment and cures for the whole community of Parkinson's patients in the very near future.
