Carol

Dont think of it as YOUR failure.
YOU have failed at nothing --- DBS has failed you!
It just is not suitable for everybody, and doctors are not rushing to
prescribe it for everybody any more.
One of my close friends died after DBS,
and I have been told that my combination of symptoms make me unsuitable
for the surgery.

You are one of the brave pioneers who was brave enough to attempt a
treatment about which not enough was known at the time.
Think of yourself as a hero.
 YOu never failed nothin' !
