I'm surprised and sad to hear of Jo Ann's departure from us. I want to express my sympathy and condolences to her family. I had recently gotten to know her a little by email, as an offshoot of our discussions here. She was an open-minded person, willing to correspond with me despite our quite substantive differences regarding religion, she being a believer, and I, not. She was willing to try to understand, and be tolerant of me, as I tried to do the same, and I think that showed a lot of character. I will miss her caring input to this list, and our private emails as well. Goodbye, Jo Ann, and thank you.
