The older listserv software, which is used by this list and which was
developed when e-mail was new and expensive, tried to save a little
bandwidth by not sending a poster a copy of his/her message, on the theory
that he/she already knew what was in the message. It did not work, because
it wasted bandwidth with threads like this one.

I am new to this list, and I found out about it when I met Gerry at the NIH
Clinical Center a couple of weeks ago. I am way behind in my e-mail, so I
have not jumped into any of the discussions yet, but I will.

| Dear Gerry,
|
| Sorry that I haven't answered sooner. YES, your messages are coming
across
| to me and I have enjoyed hearing from you as I'm sure all of us here
have. I
| haven't had the chance to answer your posts yet but have been reading
them
| as they come through. I never see my e-mails show up either but realize
that
| they must be going through because I eventually get a response. Thanks
for
| your input and wisdom to this List.
