I want to add my feelings re JoAnn. I am so shocked and saddened to hear of her death right after Murray's passing. We didn't agree on much either, but I never deleted her messages. I always wondered what kooky, off the wall statement she had to make. I wondered why she was on the list at all, but I do know she meant everyone well and was a constant voice of optimism. I hope she and Murray are realizing the rewards of their optimism. They deserve it. As for me, my first thought was, here was a life that might have been saved if our government back to Reagan's time had waged war on disease. I don't know what the circumstances of her death were, but I believe she had breast cancer along with the heart surgery. I lost 2 good friends recently to cancer and my own survival of ovarian cancer is no consolation.
