For those of you who don't have the benefit of Diane Wysak's post, attempts are being made by Republicans, Sen Roscoe Bartlett has offered one for ANT (alternative nuclear transfer) which is entirely theoretical, would involve getting cell but not destroying embryo, in an effort to give Bush and Republicans cover and derail HR 851 the Stem Cell Enhancement Act of 2005 just passed by the House. Ain't it just a kick sitting around deteriorating while these maneuvers take place?
