Have you tried frequent applications of over the counter lubricant eye drops?
They make several brands that are fine to use with contact lenses. Cataract
surgery alone can create a dry eye condition and I think Parkinson's
intensifies it. Mom has very dry eyes and dry mouth. The drops help her and at times
I have even bought the artificial saliva. Anyway, it sounds like without
enough moisture in the eye followed by blinking to distribute the moisture you
are getting a protein build-up on the contact each day. Just a thought.
