My question is......how do scientist know this??  This is one of those
suppositions that I am not sure is backed up by fact.  Since PET scans are
seldom done in PD and we have already been made aware on this list of the
supreme difficulty in obtaining  PWP's brains for autopsy, where did this
80% fact come from?  I'm wondering if this fact is like the 'estrogen
prevents heart disease and dementia' proclamation.
