Mary Ann,

No one claimed that article said Frist enjoyed killing cats.

Consider this scenario: you have a neighbor that routinely adopted kittens
when there was a new litter in the neighborhood, lying to say that he was
keeping them as pets, then performed "surgeries" on them, from which they
all died. At night this neighbor sneaks to the local dumpster with trashbags
containing feline corpses

Do you give local cat-stalker the benefit of the doubt--this is just part of
his studies--or do you think he is just creepy? When you need someone to
feed your kitty while you're out of town, do you call him? Would you let
this neighbor so much as *look* at your children? When he runs for Senate as
do you support him? Do you campaign for him wholeheartedly when he runs for
president? And, would you shout down any neighbor that says "I heard that he
used to enjoy killing cats, but that could be just hearsay"?
