Scott, there is no "in home" care of any consequence from any source that I know of. With my 2nd DBS I went home until implantation of the pacemaker in my chest and a nurse came to the house to take the stitches out of my head. On first DBS I went into nursing home close to Scripps I was so fearful of infection, etc that I wanted to be close by. My insurance paid for everything. I could be wrong but I think when you are dying you get something from Medicare.
