That's an interesting point, Randy.  I'm afraid the cat's already out
of the bag, offstage anyway.  Most of my musician friends are aware
that I have PD.  So far, only one, the guitarist I work with, has
admitted that he hears a difference in my playing.  But as far as the
public goes, would you suggest that I not make a public announcement
about my PD until I actually retire from playing music in public?  I
do publicly support PD related issues, but have stopped short of
organizing benefit shows for research, etc.  I feel like MJ Fox might
have, back when he was still doing TV and keeping his illness from
everyone.

After 20 yrs, I'd like to ask you what point you're at with the
medication, etc.  Do you take a lot of sinemet?  What else do you do
to maintain and take care of yourself?
