My advice would be to take care of your future while living in the
present.  In other words, see to your potential future needs for
healthcare, living situation (sell the 3-storey Victorian for a nice
ranch adaptable for handicap), and start taking optimal care of
yourself now.  And if there is anything you've been thinking about
doing for years, do it and enjoy it, before you have to try to arrange
for special accomodations, before things get more difficult for you.

But first, don't be afraid to seek 2nd and 3rd opinions.  There are
many neurological afflictions with some similar characterisitics.  Be
sure that your issues are being correctly defined.
