Mary Ann You said "Bush was not all that bad" and that "Iraq was a mess" Let me put this in Busheese: There is an Axis of Evil in our war on PD. It consists of Bush and his anti-science opposition to federal funding of embryonic stem research, secondly, fundamentalist religious leaders like Pat Robertson and political leaders like Sam Brownback of KS, and thirdly, everyone who supports these people in power no matter what. (anyone who harbors a terrorist is as guilty as the terrorist) And yes it is divisive. Bush made it that way on all issues by his stubborn, uncompromising nature. Compromise is the essence of politics. We need to know "who is with us and who is against us" or,as Bush has so often put it, "you're either with us or against us."
