PD affects most muscle systems but respiration is somewhat unique in that it
is both reflexive or can be controlled concsciencely. I am not a dr or
thearapist (but I am a martial artist). If you are new to this sort of
exercise it might be best to sit or lie and limit yourself to 7 repetitions.
But when you are practiced it is useful when dealing with airport security,
cranky neighbors or when thinking about the antichrist.

1. Simply observe your breath, the in, the out, the point at which you
change.
2. Breath slowly (~ 1min) in thru your nose, fill the bottom of your lungs
first. Use your diaphram.
Exhale slowly thru your mouth expelling all the reserves at the end.
3. Breath in thru your nose for a count of four.
Hold for a count of seven.
Exhale thru mouth with the tongue tip at the roof of your mouth for a count
of eight. The length of each count is unimportant.
4.Sing
5.Play a wind instrument (sax, trombone etc).
6. Read a funny book and laugh.
7. Have fun!
