Hello
There are not a lot of programs in Canada, and they take a different kind of
path then the programs in the States, mostly because of an absence of the
traditional composition program as it exists in the States. However, you
should check on the University of Waterloo and the University of British
Columbia. It might also be useful to check on Carleton University in Ottawa.
They have a Master's in Applied linguistics and I know are planning a PHD.
But I don't know where they are at in terms of their planning.
