As a semi-silent reader of this list, I have agreed wholeheartedly with most of what Ray and Rick have said, most importantly about stem cells and about Bush. Thankfully, I did not vote for Bush and having known the Vice President through my ex-monther-in-law's breif political career, I knew well enough not to vote for him either. When they were re-elected, my only prayer was that the country could still be salvaged when they were finished with their term. Every day increases my doubt that it can be, however, at least in my remaining lifetime. (I am 50). I could go on, but won't, however, I frequently quote Ray or Rick to my friends and family and find that they both tell it like it is. Let's not silence any comments lest we become less than true Americans. My PD update: Today I started a new Sinemet and Stalevo regimen, after the year of Requip. I am maxed out on the Requip dose, and had to go to the "real" thing. I am seeing a Movement Disorder Specialist, still working, but having carpal tunnel symptoms, too. It is a battle to continue, but I must. Please keep on writing, and don't be discouraged. Some of us silent types think of you and you words often, and wish we had said it first!
