Rasagaline is an MAO-B inhibitor getting good reviews, monotherapy early,
adjunct to C/L later, apparently causes fewer side effects, less sleepiness,
nausea, fewer hallucinations. I am really pulling for Neupro, should be out
in the spring. An agonist, but transdermal - studies are showing marked
decrease in on/off times and increases on parts 2 & 3 of UPDRS. Like
rasagaline, rotigotine is monotherapy early and adjunct later. Lets hope.

The new PD drug coming out this fall seems to be getting good reviews with
people in the early stages of PD. I heard it helped those of us in mid or
later stages too. I hope so.
