Nobody has a hole/s drilled in the brain in PD treatment unless you are
talking about palliodotomies which I believe consists of either removal of
brain tissue or lesions .

I have had 2 holes drilled in my very thick skull from DBS, which I guess is
what you are referring to.  DBS is no cure.  The initial lesions from
implantation of electrodes in my brain immediately straightened out my left
foot which was turned inward at a right angle due to dystonia.
Dr. Levesque removed some of Dennis Turner's own brain cells in his
experiment.
