Hi, Maryse,

Unfortunately, humans are the only species who use science.  Humans
are the only species to use politics or religion as well.  The way we
humans use science and religion, and do everything else we do, is, in
my rock n roll opinion, definitely political.  The ideal of science
may be pure, just like the ideal of God's love or the ideal of
democracy, but in the hands of humans, it doesn't stay that way for a
second.

Thus could an American lawmaker vote against SCR funding on moral
grounds developed in the Middle East 2000 years ago.

I wish those darn Vulcans would get here!
