Jacqueline, thank you so much. I forgot to add that my eyes water excessively, especially the right one. I also have excess mucous and am always coughing it up and wiping my eye/s. This all started not too long after my DBS surgeries in 2003 and it is more than annoying. My ophthalmologist says I have cataracts that are not ready to be removed yet. My neurologist tried to reprogram my implants to see if that would help, but to no avail. I don't think any of us really know exactly what is the cause. Because my eyes ran all the time (no wonder things looked like I was under water and still do)I first thought it was allergies, but I moved from CA to AZ and have it/them all year long. My eyes don't feel gritty or sandy, just very wet and I can never clear them up. Left eye has worse cataract and when I shut or cover it I can see better with right eye for distance, but its just the opposite for reading. I have successfully worn progressive lenses for over 20 years. I can certainly do the blinks. Thank you so much for trying to help me.
