I'm 73, diagnosed for 2 1/2 years, currently taking 5 1/2 sinemet a day. Doc has had me try amantadine, comtan, stalevo, mirapex- all with negative effects. So I'm doing my own thing. I do better without the excess meds. Going on a cruise in 2 weeks, joining an exercise class when I get back. Of course, I don't walk well and use a wheelchair part of the time. But things could be worse.
