Hi Betsy et al.
Betsy, you aren't hallucinating! I am compiling the data and writing my thesis on Canadian writing centres (deadline Feb. 20, 2005- ACK). I am about three months behind because I was collaborating on a pan-Canadian state of the field review of adult literacy, which I hope to present at May's CASAE conference at York (hello, Brock)
 
At the last Inkshed at Whitepoint Beach, I collected focus group-ish responses; remember the lime-green sheets?
Actually, you may have been hallucuinating, as I recall you were quite ill!
 
I also posted a call to the CASLL listserv for responses to a more in-depth survey. I have collected information from 12 writing centres across Canada (many said yes, but few have followed through... I'll take more over the next three weeks...hint hint...). The survey and research information is still on the Inkshed 22 website at http://www.stthomasu.ca/inkshed/inkshed22/
 
As soon as I recover from my thesis defense, I will be posting the results and hopefully publishing an article.
If I can answer any specific questions, or provide bibliographical information, please let me know!

	I seem to be hallucinating that there was a study of writing centres
