Hi Debbie. My wife didn't want to go on drugs, either. She tried acupuncture, myotherapy, homeopathy, herbs, concentrated vegetable extracts, diet, etc., etc. Her tremors began in the left hand, too. (She had some foot drop before that.) In any case, Sinemet was like a miracle at first, then after about five years the side affects from meds were as bad as the PD symptoms. Nothing has enabled her to get off drugs, though. (It's been about 9 years on Sinemet.) She tried, and was down to one 25/100 per day this past summer. Then she crashed. That was the worst experience ever. She is just now stabilizing again, but lots of dyskinesia.
