Piano's a bit different than computer keyboard.  You need to have
loose, flexible wrists, and there are many diff. ways in which you
play: sometimes you stroke it like a kitten, other times you dig in
like you were trying to put holes in the keys.  Sometimes your fingers
are spread out, other times they're trying not to trip over each
other.  It calls for the wrists to play from many different angles.
Wearing a brace would be too restrictive, for me, anyway.  It took me
a long time to get used to wearing my wedding ring.
