People's Advocate and National Tax Limitation Foundation-these are anti-tax groups-but who is the lawfirm representing them? The Life Legal Defense Foundation, a major anti-abortion group. 3.. The California Family Bioethics Council (CFBC)-does that sound like a religious group? It was incorporated the same day the lawsuit was filed (July 6 of this year) and is a project of the California Family Council, a statewide family policy affiliated with Focus on the Family, an international media ministry founded by Dr. James C. Dobson. one of the most powerful figures on the religious right.
