I have no objection.

I would point out, for the information of list members, that
the precautions that Annette is taking to preserve anonymity
are not a guarantee. Given the capability of Web search
engines, it may well be possible (or become possible in the
future) to locate the source of a quote, particularly if it
is longer than a sentence or so.

I would suggest, as a precaution, that Annette make
non-substantive changes in the quotes, particularly the
longer ones.

Subject: quoting

| Dear Listmembers,
|
| as I told you recently, I am studying how people help
themselves. I am
| writing an article in which I quote some of you, but
without saying which
| list I mean, nor do I quote names or any information that
reveals anything
| negative or embarrassing. Does anybody of you object to
this kind of
| quoting? Once finished writing or once published,
depending on your
| preference, I could send the article to anybody
interested.
|
| If you want to write to me off list, here is my email:

|
| Thank you very much!
