Or maybe if you put ithe issue as  an SAT question, the college age
offspring would figure it out:
(1) Childhood is to Adulthood as:
(a) "Why is this happening to me?" is to "Why is this happening to me!"
(b) ""I don't have to take out the garbage" is to "It's your garbage!"
(c) "I'm not having a good childhood" is to "I'm not having a good old age."
(d) "My word is my bond" is to "What happened to 'My word is my bond?'"
