Hello Edith,

I join you in your somber mood. It's hard to feel festive this
year...but let's continue to hope for better things in 2006, including,
my friend, a diagnosis and some relief for you.

Love to you, Rob, and Sarah,

Kathleen

Subject: Christmas 2005

I just spent a good hour plus creating a Christmas card.
Unfortunately, I
couldn't send it. It simply doesn't fit, and I say this after having
received many beautiful, and creative snail mail and e-cards which were
passed along.

Somehow, maybe because it is after 1 AM, I feel somewhat somber. I
should
be rejoicing! This is a time in which to celebrate PEACE ON EARTH,
GOOD
WILL TOWARD MEN, and from the deepest caring within me, I wish this for
everyone. However, I have to ask, "What happened to the teachings of
the
Carpenter from Nazareth?" As a civilization, where did we lose our
way?
More importantly, have we permanently lost our way back?

 In friendship and deepest sincerity,
