Not necessarily. There is a growing body of evidence and reports from people (and their families) who developed compulsive excessive gambling tendencies only after taking Mirapex. Some hadn't gambled at all prior to that. Once the Mirapex was discontinued, the gambling ceased. It could be argued that the gambling tendencies were there and the drug just brought them out but that is a case for circular reasoning.
