Bev - I know someone who had a somewhat similar experience and began taking Ritalin as prescribed by a neuro. This really seemed to help a lot, plus he mentioned that he felt like he could think again. Not a doc myself, so can't vouch in any way for this, just passing on an anecdote. Don't know if others on the list have tried Ritalin???
