Did you know that since 1996 the Dickey-Wicker Amendment has prohibited funds to Dept of Health and Human Services for cloning or embyronic stem cell research, contrary to what opponents of SCNT and NT say that they are not banned at the federal level? Apparently Clinton tried to overcome this obstacle. I'm wondering where we might be now if not for this opposition.
