Rod,

The sooner you do come to grips with it, the sooner you'll be able to become
educated as to how and when the disease will affect you, and by extension,
your family, and the sooner the family can talk about it together, instead
of them hovering and waiting for your big fall. PD is not a big fall, but a
very slowly progressing condition. If it's PD, it's likely been progressing
for years before you even knew it. Three doctors in two states is enough to
convince a lot of people. But if you still need convincing, I'd like to
suggest that you read up on it yourself. After all the possiblilities have
been eliminated, we'll still be here. And if you beat the odds and come up
with another answer, well, here's hoping what you do have is no worse than
PD.

This list is a great source for info and support. Hope to hear from you
soon.

Enjoy!
Rick McGirr
