George, my DBS in 2003 stopped tremors which are sneaking back, I probably need to be reprogrammed, but I count my speech difficulties to that time, of course it's hard to tell as that is a PD symptom I did not have originally. My left foot was completely turned in by dystonia and is still straight, but my left leg still draws up and toes are knotted. My physical therapist here does not want to give me any more botox injections which really helped. He is all for exercise although he looks like he could use some himself. Exercise has suffered due to cataract surgeries and while I think it helps I tried to tell him it does not cure PD. PD always wins.
