I've heard neurologists say that stress plays little or no roll in
the progression of PD. However,
My mother was diagnosed in 1994. At that time she was still driving
and living like a normal 73-year-old woman. My dad landed in hospital
in 1995 for hip surgery and spent the next 7 months there until his
death. During that time my mom's symptoms worsened at a shocking
pace. She entered a nursing home and, by the time she died in 1998
was totally dependent on care givers.

Do all you can to reduce stress in your life! I'm a teacher.
Sometimes I wonder what effect NCLB might be having on my health.-)
